Zelin Yang
Marine Protection Atlas Intern
Zelin is an international student from China. She has a deep passion for marine conservation and marine mammal physiology. She completed her undergraduate degree in Marine Biology at UC Santa Cruz. She is currently enrolled in the Rosenstiel School at the University of Miami for her MPS degree in Marine Conservation.
Zelin hopes to learn more about the hands-on process and challenges of marine conservation in the real world through her internship with the Marine Conservation Institute. Some of her fun facts: she has pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, and ranchu goldfish; and she enjoys growing vegetables such as pumpkins, okra, and baby spinach.
