Viktória Balogh

Viktória Balogh was raised in Hungary, where her love for nature started at a young age. She earned her International Master’s Degree in Marine Biological Resources in the field of Marine Conservation. Her master’s thesis focused on the redistribution of cold-water coral biodiversity under global climate change scenarios. While pursuing her bachelor's degree in Biology, she had the opportunity to work in a National Park located in Hungary. It was during this time that she witnessed conservation efforts being carried out first-hand, which ignited her interest in Marine Protected Areas. Viktória is looking forward to contributing to safeguarding marine ecosystems by conducting research on MPAs around the world.
