Tifany Koniezna is from Normandy, France. She obtained her bachelor's degree in social sciences at the Sciences Po and is studying to receive a master's degree in Environmental Policy with a specialization in marine science at Sciences Po Paris.
Her passion for the ocean, which she has nurtured since she was a child, was reinforced during her exchange year in Norway. She cultivated her love of the ocean through a commitment to the protection of marine life in Bergen, taking courses that specialized in marine biology and Arctic cetaceans, as well as sailing with the city's sailing club.
She enjoys doing outdoor activities, especially being in contact with nature. Scuba diving is her favorite hobby, but she also loves sailing, swimming, hiking and climbing. Being in contact with nature reminds her of the importance of being dedicated to protecting it.
After being in Norway, she was determined to dedicate her personal and professional life to the protection and conservation of the ocean. She is delighted to be part of Marine Conservation Institute's team, both to learn more about the organization, but also to contribute the knowledge she has acquired during her years of study.
