Communications & Development Intern (Glen Ellen, CA)
Sean is an upcoming junior at Sonoma State University where he is double majoring in Communications & Media Studies and Geography, Environment, and Planning. Making conscientious decisions about the health of the planet, his concentration of study is Society, Environment, and Development. Originally from Long Beach, California, the ocean has always been a major part of his life, and he is thrilled to dedicate more time to this cause since. Taking AP Environmental Science and Oceanography/Marine Biology, he focused his field study project on ocean acidification, and he participated in the Seabass in the Classroom program. Sean works on campus as a Student Outreach Ambassador where he introduces potential and future students to the experience and quality of education that is Sonoma State University. He is also an active member of the Surfrider SSU, the Sonoma State affiliate of the Surfrider Foundation, and the Sonoma State Men’s Lacrosse team. Outside of school, one can find Sean on the Sonoma Coast, or when he is at the beach, he’s riding down Pacific Coast Highway on his skateboard.
