Blue Parks Science Intern
Sarah is currently a student at the University of Gibraltar, undertaking a Master’s Programme in Marine Science and Climate Change. She owes her passion for all things marine (and good food!) to her tropical home, in the island city state of Singapore. Sarah is trained as an educator, having taught general sciences and biology at public and independent schools during her teaching career. For her masters dissertation, she is working on small Marine Protected Areas, looking specifically into customising a science-based effectiveness evaluation framework for small MPAs. Through her project, she hopes to shine light on the effectiveness of small MPAs, and its collective untapped value in ocean conservation.
