Marine Protection Atlas Intern

Rosalyn Kamp earned her Master’s degree in Ocean Governance from the University of Malta. Her thesis focused on assessing the actual protection status versus the claim of marine protected areas in the Mediterranean Sea. She previously worked on sea turtle conservation in Mexico and is currently conducting habitat and species baseline surveys in a marine protected area in Malta. Prior to this she obtained a B.S in Economics from Texas A&M University where she was involved in economic development and sustainability initiatives. Her love and passion for the marine environment comes from her upbringing on the small island of Gozo, Malta, where she was always surrounded by the sea. Rosalyn is looking forward to developing her skills and knowledge and contributing to the Marine Protection Atlas team.
