Ridmi Dewage

Ridmi Dewage is from Sri Lanka and is currently a senior studying her final two years for a Bachelors in Psychology. She grew up in Colombo and lived her entire life in on the beautiful island of Sri Lanka. After completing her diploma in business management and administration she had the opportunity to pursue her passion for writing and creative content design where she was published on many local websites. Her focus is on conservation using her social media content designs to tell stories about sustainable living and environmental protection.

She is an active cyclist in Colombo and recently partnered with “Cyclalogy” (a professional bicycle service center) where she uses her skills in marketing and social media to provide visual content that promotes sustainable living, consumption and travel in Sri Lanka.

She is excited to be a part of Marine Conservation Institute's team where she will be contributing her skills and learning more about ocean conservation and protection. Ridmi says, “Living on an island surrounded by the water, I’m always drawn to the beauty and mystery of the ocean and spend most of my free time traveling to unexplored beaches on my bike!"
