Marine Protection Atlas Intern
Ram earned his Master of Science degree in Marine Biology from the University of California San Diego through the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. When he moved to San Diego to complete his undergraduate degree in Marine Biology, Ram began working for his family's farming business by managing and analyzing data, which he continues to do to this day. He has volunteered with several research projects including the Hubbs SeaWorld Research Institute's Ocean Resources Enhancement and Hatchery Program, and NOAA's Rockfish Barotrauma and Recompression studies. Ram spends most of his free time with his wife and young son, doing his best to instill his love and respect of the natural world in him. His hobbies include nature photography, drumming and getting in the ocean as much as possible.
