Blue Parks Science Intern

Patrick was born and raised in Ocean County, New Jersey, and knew from a young age that ocean conservation was the field that he wanted to work in. He received his undergraduate degree in Coastal and Marine Sciences from Sacred Heart University in 2021. While at Sacred Heart University, Patrick conducted research in their coral lab, as well as wrestling division 1.

Currently Patrick is a master’s student at the University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences, where he is on the Climate and Society Track. Additionally, he is a teacher’s assistant for an interdisciplinary Climate Resilience course as apart of UM’s Climate Resilient Academy.

In his off time Patrick enjoys being outdoors. He frequently is seen kayaking, fishing, surfing, or practicing yoga.
