Blue Parks Ambassador

Armand studied Marine and Freshwater Biology at the University of Guelph, in Ontario Canada, and is preparing to begin graduate school in marine science and policy. His passion for conservation and environmental protections stems from childhood, when he explored local intertidal pools. As a child he spent much of his time outdoors collecting and identifying various aquatic invertebrates from nearby parks, and beaches to learn about their life histories and behaviors. These pursuits turned into a passion for hiking, fishing, and swimming. His love of the outdoors keeps him focused on helping to protect the environment. Armand has worked with Marine Conservation Institute to improve marine conservation globally since 2019. He and Christina Hoenow are the masterminds behind much of the Blue Parks content featured on our Instagram account. Armand loves showcasing outstanding marine protected areas for their significance in the conservation of our oceans.
